Jae Sung Kwak

Professor, Kyung Hee Univ

Dr. Jae Sung Kwak is the Professor of International Development at the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies (GSP), Kyung Hee University. He is specialized in international political economy, international development, and Latin American Studies.

He has also advised numerous public and international organizations, and private enterprises including World Bank, ADB, IDB, UNECLAC, Samsung Electronics, LG Group as well as Korean Ministries and aid agencies like KOICA on various agenda related to international development.

He is currently managing numerous development projects including the promotion of e-Mobility and circular economy in Cambodia.

As of 2023, he is serving as the President of Latin American Studies of Korea (LASAK) as well as the Vice-President of the Korean Association of International Development and Cooperation (KAIDEC).

He holds B.A in Hispanic studies from Seoul National University and Ph.D. in international politics from the University of Liverpool, UK.
